Dakota Johnson Chris Martin visit Siddhivinayak Temple
Hollywood actress Dakota Johnson, best acknowledged for her role in Fifty Shades of Grey, and Chris Martin visited Mumbai’s famous Siddhivinayak Temple alongside Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre and Gayatri Joshi. Johnson is in India with her partner, Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin.
The trio were spotted together at the temple, all dressed in traditional attire. Dakota wore a blue salwar suit with a saffron shawl, mirroring the attire of Bendre and Gayatri. The trio appeared to be in an animated conversation amidst their visit.
Dakota was also seen taking part in the aarti with Sonali and Gayatri.
Chris Martin was spotted doing the aarti with a puja thali in his hands. Later, they were seen posing together for photographs outside the temple.
Earlier, Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin had also paid a visit to the iconic Shri Babulnath Temple in Mumbai. Both were dressed in traditional Indian clothing, with Johnson covering her head as a mark of respect. At the temple, Johnson was seen whispering a prayer into the ears of Nandi, a traditional practice at Lord Shiva’s temple. Sonali Bendre and Gayatri Joshi also accompanied them on this visit.
Chris Martin is in India with Coldplay for their Music of the Spheres World Tour.
The band will perform at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on January 19 and 21, before concluding the India leg of their tour with shows in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26. The concerts will be live-streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
Dakota and Chris, who started dating after Martin’s divorce from actress Gwyneth Paltrow, have been seen traveling together frequently. Johnson had previously shared how much she enjoys touring with Chris when she is not working.
