Rohman Shawla reacts being called Sushmita Sen’s boyfriend

Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl’s love story blossomed in 2018 when Rohman reached out to her via a direct message on Instagram.

However, their romance never lasted long and ended in 2021, with both announcing their breakup on social media while clarifying that they remained good friends. Even post-breakup, the duo continued to be seen together at events and amidst Sushmita’s live Instagram sessions.

In the midst of the days of their relationship, Rohman had voluntarily distanced from acting, leading to considerable media speculation.

In total disregard to this, he had no qualms being referred to as ‘Sushmita Sen’s boyfriend. It wasn’t
detrimental to his career in any way. When he was in a relationship, he wasn’t working. People had nothing to write about him but his relationship. Now that he has started working, he sees the change. When someone messages him now, it’s regarding his work, Rohman added further amidst his media interaction.

He further reflected, that he doesn’t
know how detrimental it was because he was in love. What people said or wrote about him didn’t matter. It was his safe space, and he is aware what he shared with that person. He was proud of being known by his woman’s name. As a man, aap chhote bann jaate ho kya agar aap ko log kisi aurat ke wajah se jaante hain? He doesn’t think so, it’s a bad thing at all. The media blew it out of proportion.

Everyone has relationships and he doesn’t think there’s too much to think or dissect there.

When asked on the biggest lesson he has learned from the Aarya star, Rohman shot back it’sjust due to hard work. That’s something learnt the value of and instill it in in work.

Rohman shared that if you speak to someone he’s worked with, the one thing they’ll tell is that he works really hard, chahe kaam aata ya na aata ho.
