Maha CM arranges sacred water from Triveni Sangam to Nagpur
The CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis amidst speaking at the ‘Mahakumbh Prayagyoj’ event organised in Nagpur said that for people who are unable to visit Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj to have a dip in the sacred Triveni the holy water from the Triveni Sangam has been brought into Nagpur for devotees to offer prayers.
This initiative was taken to allow devotees to experience the spiritual essence of the Kumbh Mela. The event was held at the Reshimbagh grounds in Nagpur, which is also the home town of Fadnavis.
“The grand Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj showcases the essence of Sanatan culture… For thousands of years, this sacred gathering has reflected human civilization and culture. Devotees from different castes, languages, and sects come together at the Kumbh Mela, making it a true symbol of social unity,” the CM said.
The event saw the attendance by Justice (Retd) Sunil Shukre, Rajesh Loya, Amey Hete, and other dignitaries from The Satsang Foundation, Nagpur Chapter.
