After marking her debut in 2000 with the Rakesh Roshan directorial film ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’ featuring Hrithik Roshan, Ameesha Patel won the hearts with her iconic roles in ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Gadar 2’, ‘Humraaz’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ and others.
The actress recently shared a memory of celebrating her birthday with Sanjay. Amidst a media interaction, the actress recalled that she had met Sanjay who is very protective and insists she wear traditional clothing like salwaar kameez when visiting his home.
Ameesha also mentioned that Sanjay often comments on her innocence in the film industry. She said, “He even jokes about arranging her marriage, finding her a suitable partner, and performing her kanyadaan.
She further went on to say, Sanju is super protective and really cares about her. He’s always checking in to see if she is doing okay. This was one of her birthdays, and we celebrated at his place, just a low-key party with cake.”
On the work front, Ameesha Patel last played her iconic role as Sakeena in the 2023 blockbuster ‘Gadar 2’, which reunited her with Sunny Deol and reignited nostalgia for the original ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’.
Following the film’s massive success, the actress has been engaging with fans and hinting at upcoming projects. Although she hasn’t announced her next film, reports indicate she’s considering new scripts and may soon return to the big screen with another exciting venture.
