SRK’s starrer ‘Dil Se’, a veteran Mani Ratnam directorial released n 1998 remains a cherished part of his film legacy.

Gajraj Rao recounts a notable incident from the shoot, where Mani Ratnam urged him to be careful amidst a fight scene with Shah Rukh.

Nonetheless, Khan’s gentle guidance helped Gajraj feel comfortable, permitting him to perform with spontaneity.

As reported by Indian Express, Gajraj recalled a scene from ‘Dil Se’ where he played a CBI officer tasked with nabbing Shah Rukh Khan’s character. During rehearsals, Gajraj pushed Shah Rukh against the wall, prompting director Mani Ratnam to caution him, saying, “Shah Rukh is a hero, he is a star. We need to complete this film. Don’t push him like this.” However, Shah Rukh encouraged Gajraj to perform with full energy, saying, “Do the same thing.” Gajraj praised Shah Rukh’s charisma and ability to make everyone feel special both on and off the set.
