Anushka Sharma rang in her 37th birthday on 2 May and turned a year older.

From fans to celebrities, everyone has been wishing the actress from all corners. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Kajol shared a radiant photo of Anushka accompanied by the message.

Anushka as of now is in London enjoying her family life. She is not making any public appearances and has even taken a break from acting.

Anushka Sharma made her debut in Bollywood with the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

From the moment she stepped into the film industry, she became a favourite among fans with her impressive acting prowess. She went on to deliver memorable performances in films like Jab Tak Hai Jaan, PK, Sultan and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Anushka’s last film before taking hiatus from acting was Zero, released in 2018. Directed by Aanand L. Rai, the film starred Shah Rukh, Anushka and Katrina in lead roles. Anushka played the role of Aafia Yusufzai Bhinder, a scientist with cerebral palsy.

While Zero was her last major film, Anushka made a cameo appearance in the 2020 film Qala where she portrayed a retro superstar in a black-and-white sequence. In this brief role, she lip-syncs to the song Ghodey Pe Sawaar.

While, Kajol will be soon seen in Maharagni – Queen of Queens,’ with Prabhu Deva. This action-packed thriller marks the long-awaited reunion of these actors after nearly three decades since their collaboration in Rajiv Menon’s ‘Minsaara Kanavu’ Steering this cinematic endeavor is director CharanTej Uppalapati. Recently, Ajay Devgn unveiled the teaser. The teaser highlights Kajol’s dynamic character engaging in intense battles, displaying remarkable skills and flair. Alongside, the film boasts a stellar lineup including Naseeruddin Shah, Samyuktha Menon, Jisshu Sengupta, and Aditya Seal.

Kajol and Prabhudeva shared the screen in the acclaimed 1997 Tamil film “Minsara Kanavu” directed by Rajiv Menon. This cinematic gem, alongside Arvind Swamy, captivated audiences and emerged as a smashing success. Its Hindi-dubbed adaptation, “Sapnay,” introduced to the masses the beloved track “Chanda Re.”
