Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah lauds RCB for their maiden IPL victory

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah showered praises on Royal Challengers Bengaluru for their maiden IPL victory after an 18-year wait and voiced that dream has eventually turned true.

Taking to his X (formerly twitter), he posted“Congratulations to Royal Challengers Bengaluru on a historic IPL triumph! The dream has eventually turned true.
Adding that from an exhilarating performances to unshakable spirit, this triumph has set ablaze the pride of Karnataka and captivated fans across the world

Putting an end to the 18-year wait, Virat Kohli and Royal Challengers Bengaluru lifted the maiden IPL Trophy with a six-run victory over Punjab Kings in the grand finale at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad after finishing runners-up on three occasions earlier

Punjab Kings bowlers did more than a decent job to restrict Royal Challengers Bengaluru to 190 for nine. However, their batters could not deliver under pressure as the Shreyas Iyer-led side could only manage 184/7 in 20 overs.
After winning the IPL title Kohli said that he has given each and every ounce of his energy.

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin also congratulated RCB over victory in IPL and called it a thrilling end to a season full of surprises.
