Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Mumbai’s iconic Lalbaugcha Raja on Saturday 30 August as part of his two-day visit to Mumbai. Amidst his stay in Mumbai, he is expected to visit other popular Ganesh Mandals in the Bandra and Andheri areas. He was accompanied by his family members.
The visit comes at a time of heightened political activity in Maharashtra. In the midst of his trip, the Union Minister is scheduled to meet Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to discuss the ongoing Maratha protests, the current political scenario in the state and the BJP’s strategy for the upcoming local body elections. He may also hold discussions with Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar.
