Atlee’s 150-Crore Ad Film “Agent Ching” attacks for Ching’s Secret
South’s most popular filmmaker Atlee’s latest collaboration with
Ranveer Singh on a budget of ₹150 crore is an advt film titled “Agent King Attacks for Ching’s Secret.
The ad features Ranveer Singh, Sreeleela, and Bobby Deol. Notwithstanding massive pre-release hype, viewers have lambasted the commercial for its poor visuals and weak execution.
Many users have criticised its low-quality VFX and dull cinematography, calling the ad “cringeworthy.” The reaction has been overwhelmingly negative, especially in considerate to the massive production cost.
Interestingly, the ₹150 crore budget is higher than that of several recent Bollywood films like Chhaava, Stree 2, and Saiyaara.
However, audiences feel that Atlee and his team failed to deliver the quality expected from such a huge investment.
Beyond the lacklustre visuals, viewers also found the fight sequences unimpressive and the plot senseless. Fans said they expected something spectacular given the scale, but the end result felt underwhelming.
Overall, Atlee’s ₹150 crore Agent Ching Attacks ad turned out to be a major disappointment.
Viewers were particularly put off by Bobby Deol’s final fight scene, calling it awkward and poorly executed. Fans feel that with this kind of budget and talent, the advertisement has been far better.
