Actress Kunickaa Sadanand, currently captivating hearts on Bigg Boss 19, has been one of the much- talked-about contestants since the show began. At 35, Kunickaa Sadanand got married for the second time, this time with a man based in the United States. After marriage, she shifted base abroad and soon welcomed her second son. For a while, it seemed like life had finally settled into peace. However, Kunickaa soon realised that she wasn’t made to be just a homemaker. She deeply missed her career and the fast-paced life of Mumbai. Eventually, she made the bold decision to return to India and rebuild her career in the entertainment world.
Kunickaa’s second marriage also came to an end. The couple divorced in 2006, but this separation was far more peaceful than the first. She didn’t have to go through a custody battle this time, and her son continued to live with her. Kunickaa embraced single motherhood with strength, focusing on giving her son a stable upbringing while balancing her professional commitments.
Amidst the 1990s, Kunickaa’s name often headlined due to her alleged affair with singer Kumar Sanu. At the time, Sanu was married but going through marital troubles, and he reportedly found comfort in Kunickaa’s company. In an interview Kunickaa openly admitted, she was like a wife to him and she considered him her husband.

five-year relationship ended on a bitter note. The breaking point came when Kumar Sanu’s wife allegedly attacked Kunickaa with a stick following his failure to pay child support. On Bigg Boss 19, Kunickaa also revealed that she had hidden this live-in relationship when she was 27 years old. When asked about it, she confessed that they had indeed lived together. She revealed, she never took to drugs, but there was a time when she drank a lot and was emotionally very low following her breakup.
