Amitabh at 83 shares his working till 5.30 am in the morning
At present Amitabh Bachchan is hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati 17. He makes it a point to meet fans every Sunday afternoon outside his Mumbai residence.
The Legend of Bollywood is widely considered one of the best actors in Indian cinema. The actor is acknowledged for his prolific work, having acted in numerous languages and won multiple awards for his body of work. He recently celebrated his 83rd birthday. The veteran star frequently uses his Tumblr account to engage with fans and share his candid thoughts and opinions. In his latest post, Amitabh shared that he has been working for long hours, even stretching past the whole night.
He also shared that an 86-year-old fan came from Pune to meet him on KBC 17 set: ‘Indebted to have the blessings’
In his latest blog update, Amitabh Bachchan admitted, “Kept working till 5:30 in the morning .. and just forgot there was important Blog work and responses to give.. so apologies and regrets .. But regret never for the Ef (perhaps he means work).”
Amitabh wrote a new post talking about work commitments.
In an earlier post, Amitabh shared he has been emotional over the ‘images and feelings’ in the course of the last few days. He began in his blog, “Images and feelings of the past days still linger and the mind and body is unresponsive to the routine of work .. But they keep saying that ‘the show must go on’ .. whoever said this may have meant good and with some positivity, but they that suffer, bear the brunt of the sadness that still remains to be filtered ..”
He went on to add,
“The crew of KBC took me out after the days’ work to dine with them .. a fine South Indian place .. delicious food and company .. but the heart mourns .. more so because none of them knew that it was Babuji’s birth Anniversary .. to each his own ..”
For the unversed, Amitabh recently lost his close friend from the industry, beloved Bollywood star Dharmendra.
On the work front, Amitabh was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film also starred Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan in lead roles. Big B’s portrayal of Ashwatthama in the sci-fi drama won hearts, and the film became a massive success, grossing over ₹1,000 crore worldwide.
