It’s learned from reliable source that Karan Johar is reportedly is all set to return as director for the sequel to his iconic family drama “Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham”. The film is tentatively titled Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham 2. The project has already elicited intense online discussion.
A report suggests that the film could mount the sets by the end of 2026. Like the original, the sequel is expected to feature two male and two female leads. The casting format has drawn both excitement and criticism online.

Regardless the lack of an official announcement, netizens reacted sharply no sooner the reports surfaced. Many users criticised the move and accused Karan Johar of damaging his own legacy.
