Taking to his Pan-India nostalgic blog post on April 18, 2026 (Day 6634), Amitabh Bachchan shared a touching tribute to his late revered mother, Teji Bachchan, focusing on a unique childhood memory of comfort.
Amitabh recalled a specific childhood ritual where his mother would place a warm, rounded ball of her dupatta, heated with her breath, over his eyes to soothe him.
He remembered her comforting phrase, “all shall be well Beta,” stating that just reminiscing moments brings “care, confidence and assurance” to him even as of today. Bachchan praised his mother’s simple, nurturing approach to handling life’s stresses.
He concluded his blog post by expressing that while his mother is no longer physically present, her, “warm caress” remains a lasting memory.
For those unversed Teji Bachchan departed to the ‘immortal’ world on December 21, 2007.
