Actress Vijayta Pandit described her marriage to the late music composer Aadesh Srivastava as a “great love story” that was superior to her 1981 debut film, Love Story, describing their bond as filled with immense love and mutual understanding. She revealed they met in the US, where he proposed, creating a personal journey better than her reel life.
Vijayta shared that Aadesh approached her parents directly after they met in America, marking the beginning of their journey.
She described her marriage to Aadesh as exceptionally fulfilling, noting,
“Her real-life love story with Aadesh was way better [than her debut film]”.
Regardless the happiness, she noted the story turned immensely painful following the psssing away of Aadesh after battling cancer in 2015.
In an emotional reflection, she mentioned she never feels alone, believing he is still with her.
Love Story (1981) was her debut film opposite Kumar Gaurav, with whom she had an earlier failed relationship.
