South West monsoon takes temporary break-Dry spell to prevail

IMD forecasts a temporary break in the southwest monsoon, bringing dry spells to North India, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and the Konkan-western coastal belts. This lull offers relief from recent torrential downpours but poses concerns for the agricultural sector.

Meteorologists are warning of an unexpected mid-July breather after intense early-July showers.
A distinct dry spell is expected to take hold across several regions, bringing a much-needed reprieve from torrential downpours but also raising concerns for the agricultural sector.
The current weather systems that brought relief to the state have moved away, and no major low-pressure areas are currently active over the Bay of Bengal to drive sustained monsoon rains.
