CM Fadnavis orders probe into Temple Funds

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered a detailed inquiry into an alleged ₹18-crore annual theft from the donation collections at Mumbai’s iconic Siddhivinayak Temple.
The state directive follows public allegations raised by MNS chief Raj Thackeray regarding widespread financial irregularities. Police authorities have already arrested nine temple employees in connection with the case.

The Chief Minister has instructed officials to audit the temple’s donation records spanning the past five years and demanded a swift investigative report to ensure strict legal action against all liable parties.
