Veteran actor Akshay Kumar has officially allocated a dedicated 10-day shooting schedule to step into the shoes of India’s first superstar, Rajesh Khanna, in the highly anticipated biopic of music maestro R.D. Burman.
The project features Farhan Akhtar in the titular role of the legendary composer, exploring the iconic real-life creative camaraderie and deep personal bond shared between Burman and Khanna, which defined an era of Hindi cinema.
This crucial segment of the film is scheduled to kick off production this September, capturing the essence of the cinematic giant whose collaborative hits with Burman shaped the landscape of Indian music.
