The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has suspended the food licenses of five dining outlets operating at the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) Club in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) due to severe hygiene and food safety violations.

Amidst a recent surprise inspection, FDA authorities uncovered multiple compliance failures, including sub-standard cleanliness conditions and pest issues in the club’s kitchens.
As a result, operations have been halted at the following onsite eateries:
*The Permit Room Pavilion
*Mediterranean
*Oriental Swing
*Clubway & Pastry Counter
The Bombay High Court has stepped in, directing a fresh inspection once the premises are thoroughly sanitized to ensure the safety of its high-profile sports personalities and club members. Food and beverage services at the venue will remain closed until the management rectifies the highlighted safety issues.
