Organizers can apply via the online FoSCoS portal for a baseline fee of ₹100.
The primary objective is to enforce strict hygiene and food safety standards to prevent mass food poisoning during public and religious gatherings. Failure to register can lead to immediate legal action and the filing of criminal cases against event organizers.
