Fadnavis questioned if offenders should be spared because of party ties.
Congress candidate Milan Pradhan was arrested by police over pending warrants linked to four cases from the 2007 Nandigram anti-land acquisition movement involving rioting, murder, and criminal intimidation.
Gandhi posted on social media that the arrest ahead of the election was “political revenge” and a “murder of democracy”.
Asked what specific serious charges the candidate faced.
Questioned if Gandhi supported those criminal charges.
Asked if criminals should escape law just for being Congress members.
