Aligning with Cancer Rose Day and marking his fiftieth year, the initiative represents a continuation of Oberoi’s long-term association with humanitarian causes and cancer patient support foundations.
First announcing his decision to forgo any personal financial compensation for his role as Vibhishan in late 2025, the actor instructed producer Namit Malhotra to channel his entire fee directly into patient treatment funds.
Reflecting on the decision, Oberoi shared that he views his participation in the film as a labor of dedication rather than a commercial engagement, stating that privileged financial positioning carries a core responsibility to assist those in need.
