Kareena Kapoor Khan brought her signature candour to the highly anticipated trailer launch of her upcoming film Daayra. Known affectionately by fans as Bebo, the actor turned heads not just for her role in the upcoming drama, but for a relatable, unscripted moment with the paparazzi that has since gone viral online.
While navigating the high-energy photo op in towering heels, the actor briefly lost her cool as photographers shouted conflicting directions from every corner.
Reacting with her trademark honesty, she playfully chided the press pack, remarking on the difficulty of shifting positions constantly while wearing heels.
The candid interaction instantly resonated across social media platforms. Netizens quickly drew lighthearted comparisons to veteran actor Jaya Bachchan, praising Kapoor Khan for keeping the interaction authentic rather than curated.
The moment added a lively layer to the promotion of Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar. In the film, Kapoor Khan steps into the intense role of police officer Ajooni. During the panel discussion, she joked that the controlled environment on set meant she had to save up all her expressive reactions specifically for the trailer launch day.
Daayra is scheduled for a major theatrical release. Media updates and promotional assets will continue to roll out ahead of the premiere.
