Bharatiya Janata Party leader Nitesh Rane has issued a sharp response to veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah following his recent public remarks.
Rane labeled the actor a mental Naxalite and accused him of consistently showing sympathy toward Pakistan.
The BJP leader further alleged that Shah receives financial backing to recite narratives scripted by Pakistan. He also questioned the actor’s state of mind, asking how many hours he remains in his senses before anyone takes his statements seriously.
This reaction follows a series of public exchanges involving Shah, Kangana Ranaut, and other public figures regarding political commentary and patriotism in the film industry.
