Gold House ignites Diwali withnew South Asian Shorts Fund

In a blazing convergence of global cinema and cultural triumph, Ranbir Kapoor and Yash illuminated Gold House’s largest-ever Gold Diwali celebration in Los Angeles, setting the stage for the dramatic launch of the Gold Stack Shorts Fund.
Flanked by visionary filmmakers Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra just days ahead of the worldwide premiere of the monumental epic Ramayana: Rise of a Legend, the superstar duo spearheaded an electric evening dedicated to the power, prestige, and permanence of South Asian storytelling.

As neon and traditional lamps cast a golden glow across The Majestic Downtown, Gold House Executive Chairman and CEO Bing Chen officially unleashed the Gold Stack Shorts Fund in partnership with South Stack Studios—a bold new financial engine crafted to catapult proof-of-concept short films and micro-series from South Asian creators onto the international stage.
With submissions roaring open through November 30 and landmark selections slated to drop January 10 right before the Sundance Film Festival, the night proved that the diaspora’s finest storytellers are no longer waiting at the threshold they are breaking the gates wide open.
