Prime Minister Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition parties during the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations at Parade Ground in Ekta Nagar, declaring that the opposition has degenerated into an “Avrodh Paksh” (obstructive force) rather than acting as a constructive “Virodh Paksh” (opposing group).
Addressing the gathering on the 151st birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Prime Minister asserted that it is a profound misfortune for the nation that opposition elements have abandoned their democratic duty to engage in policy debate, instead choosing to erect hurdles against India’s developmental momentum out of sheer frustration and despair. He cautioned citizens against divisive agendas and warned that anti-India forces are actively weaponizing social media to spread rumors and tarnish the country’s global standing.
Emphasizing the ironclad legacy of Sardar Patel, Prime Minister Modi called upon every citizen to stand shoulder-to-shoulder, safeguard national borders, halt demographic disruptions, and march resolutely toward the twin national milestones of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” and a fully developed “Vikshit Bharat” by 2047.
