In a recent media interaction, Wamiqa Gabbi shared an interesting update on the upcoming Varun Dhawan starrer VD18 and elaborating on the Atlee’s VD18″, helmed by Kalees, the actress said, she still has to start shooting for it. They have already started, now she has to join them. She feels overwhelmed that for a person like her to be working with a maker like him for the simple fact that she could be a part of a film backed by him. She is also elated that Murad (Khetani) reposed faith in her. It is like a dream come true.
Expressing her gratitude to be a part of VD18, Wamiqa further added that she is happy to return to theatrical films with Atlee’s film adding she feels o happy that her next theatrical film is going to be with him and Murad. That’s very exciting. She is also very excited to be a part of this film because Altee has just given one of the biggest films, Jawan. So, she knows that the heart and the pulse of the audience. All the projects that he has helmed have attracted a pan-India audience.
An overwhelmed Gabbi also pointed out that she has no idea how all these things are happening to her and added, “But they are happening and she is glad to be a part of it.
VD18 is set to release on May 31, 2024.
