Singing legend Lata Mangeshkar wished her voice at Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguratio in January 2024

In the midst of her final days, it was the wish of Bollywood’s singing legend Lata Mangeshkar that her voice be heard at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhaya amid its inauguration.

It is learnt from sources that Lata had recorded some Ram bhajans, shlokas and chants in her final days.

A source close to the Mangeshkar family reveals that the Ram bhajans are the last recordings of Lataji. She could barely stand on her feet, but she summoned Composer Mayuresh Pai and told him she wanted to do some handpicked Ram bhajans, shlokas and chants for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Meanwhile confirming this recording, Pai made it known that Lata was singing and working right till the end. She ensured that she did the recordings even as her health was failing. Hats off to Lata Mangeshkar for her bravery and courage to sing even as she was in her final days.
