Naata foundation celebrates nine-day Navratri with distribution of wheelchairs to differenty-abled people of Aarey,
Navaratri, the nine days and nights, holds great importance among Hindus as it is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga.
The festival, which kicked-off on October 15, 2023, is being celebrated with great enthusiasm and traditional spirits.
Navratri is also known as Shardiya Navratri. At this time around, devotees offer prayers to the nine different forms of Goddess Durga amidst this period, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. The nine-day festival culminates on October 24, 2023.
On this auspicious occasion Naata foundation commenced their celebrations with distribution of wheelchairs to differenty-abled people of Aarey, a place difficult for them to move about in the backdrop of non-existence of good roads.
This project was done in association with RCML and their forest team .
They felt it good enough that one of their differently-abled student, Ganesh who just finished his 10th board and passed with good marks.
Notedly,Team Naata has taken the initiative of shouldering the responsibility of his education to enable him to get a good job and be a successful person.
