Madhuri Dixit Shares conceptualisation behind her Upcoming Marathi Dark Comedy ‘Panchak’
Madhuri Dixit, well- known for ‘Tridev’, ‘Tezaab’, ‘Saajan’, ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’, shares the
conceptualisation behind her upcoming Marathi project Dark Comedy ‘Panchak’
Madhuri along with her husband Shriram Nene gears up to release their much-awaited-anticipated Marathi film ‘Panchak’ on January 5. The film is a Jayant Jathar and Rahul Awate directorial.
Elaborating on the same, Madhuri and Shriram in a joint statement reveal that the
conceptualisation of ‘Panchak’ is very simple. Superstitions can overwhelm us, and drive us to unreasonable fear, putting us in absurd situations.
The husband-wife duo further add that they feel much excited producing this movie and have put in hard work to assemble an outstanding cast and crew and to hopefully give audiences a much-needed dose of humour. They can’t wait to showcase the film to the audiences.
Produced under the banner of RNM Moving Pictures, ‘Panchak’ shot in Konkan region is a dark comedy that deals with the fear of superstition and death.
The film features an ensemble cast of the finest artistes from the Marathi film and television industry, and theatre, and is shot in picturesque Konkan.
The film marks the second production of RNM Moving Pictures after 15th August which was released directly on OTT and garnered rave reviews.
‘Panchak’ features Adinath Kothare, Tejashri Pradhan, Anand Ingale, Nandita Patkar, Bharati Acharekar, Vidyadhar Joshi, Satish Alekar, Sagar Talashikar, Dipti Devi, Ashish Kulkarni, and Dilip Prabhavalkar.
The film is set for theatrical release on January 5, 2024.
