In the recent criminal incident the crime branch of the Mumbai Police busted Sex Flesh Trade Racket functioning in the guise of SPA Massage Center In Juhu. Reportedly four Girls and two accused owners of the SPA are
footloose.

An FIR has been registered under Section 370(1) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act, 1956.
Notedly, this case emerges as a as a stark reminder of the continuing challenges related to human trafficking in India.
Reportedly, Amit Bhimrao Mahangade, a 36-year-old service officer brought to light the crime which took place amidst 18:30 and 18:45 on October 25th, 2023.
According to the complainant, the individuals functiong under the guise of a massage parlor, Shalini Dhotre and Nikita Karande, lured girls into prostitution, and exploiting them for financial benefits.
This operation was not only culpable, but also illegal under the Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act, 1956.
After investigation, the FIR was registered under no
744/2023, at the Juhu Police Station on the same day i.e. 25 October at 23:21 hours.
This rapid response is a
substantiation to the commitment of the law enforcement agencies to address issues related to immoral trafficking instantaneously.
The police authorities guided by Police Sub-Inspector Farande with the able support of Night Patrol Officer Poni Yadav, are are into active operation to probe the case.
As yet the accused parties have not been identified, but the investigation is underway and attempts are being made to bring the perpetrators to justice.
