Kriti Sanon opens up on the ‘Nepo-Kid’ entering Bollywood and about the ‘nepostism’ problem in the film industry.

It is her belief that if a producer launches a person from within Bollywood, they should also give “space to someone who doesn’t belong but is probably more talented.

In the midst of her interaction with the media, she also added that “world is tilting towards talent and scripts rather than stars and big names.

Kriti made her Bollywood debut with the 2014 film Heropanti and went on to star in Dilwale, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi, Mimi and Adipurush among others.

In the midst of the interview, Kriti also said that the industry can become more accessible for outsiders if we start creating equal opportunities and if you’re launching someone from the industry, ensure that you’re also giving space to someone who doesn’t belong but is probably more talented.

She also added that she has seen a lot of videos on vision boards and manifesting that say that if you believe something can happen, it will.

But with her, she has realised that if she desperately chases a particular milestone, it just doesn’t happen.

In October, Kriti was honoured with National Award, the first ever, on October 17, with the Best Actor Award for her role in Mimi at the 69th National Film Awards ceremony.

As quoted by news agencies, Kriti had said that it is a surreal moment. She thinks this is every actor’s dream. She thought it was a distant dream as she has not even completed 10 years in the industry, but for something like this to happen, she feels very blessed and grateful.

Kriti has acted in Dilwale Raabta and Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi, Housefull 4 and Panipat Mimi and Bachchhan Paandey Bhediya, Shehzada, Adipurush and Ganapath.

She will be seen sharing with Shahid Kapoor in a romantic film, which will hits the theatres on February 9, 2024. Kriti will also be seen in The Crew alongside Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Diljit Dosanjh.
