Kamal went on to add that Bhavatharini’s death cannot be tolerated or accepted. Ilaiyaraaja shouldn’t give up dealing with this huge loss.
Reportedly, playback singer and composer Bhavatharini was suffering from Stage four liver cancer for the past couple of months, and she apparently went to Sri Lanka for Ayurveda treatment.
The National-award winning singer is survived by her husband, father Ilaiyaraaja, and brothers, Karthik Raja and Yuvan Shankar Raja.
It was only a couple of months ago that she was diagnosed with Stage four liver cancer, and she has been receiving treatment for the same. She was taken to Sri Lanka to receive Ayurveda treatment, but died at the hospital itself.
