As son of renowned actor Suresh Oberoi, Vivek was always involved in the world of movies and once ended up gatecrashing at the music launch of Shah Rukh Khan’s film 1993 Baazigar!
The actor, in an exclusive media interaction recalled the incident. saying that he was in college and had not even started his journey as a struggler and someone told them there’s a launch party for a film called Baazigar.
It has Shah Rukh Khan, and is directed by Abbas-Mustan who made Khiladi. This got us excited, so after getting nicely dressed, gate crashed at the party and had free dinner! What’s more, we got to see Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Shilpa Shetty in person.
For Vivek, Life, indeed has come full circle as he is now acting with Shilpa in Indian Police Force!
Incidentally, that party was the first time he saw Shilpa Shetty and post his debut with Company and Saathiya, the two of them became friends and have been for more than 20 years now.
Talking about Shilpa, he said, “she’s one of the nicest person you can meet. No matter what we are going through in our individual lives, we meet with the same love and respect.
