Anil Thadani, film distributor functioning under AA Films and husband of actress Raveena Tandon has acquired the theatrical rights (Hindi version) of big-budget and much anticipated South Indian films Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, Ram Charan’s Game Changer, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer Kalki 2898 AD, and Devara: Part 1 starring Jr. NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan
for 200 crore and also the digital rights of the Sukumar directorial have been sold to Netflix for Rs 100 crore.

After subjugating the big screen in the ‘90s, Raveena returned to in 2022 with a significant role in K.G.F: Chapter 2 — a pan-India project that turned out to be one of the highest-grossing films of the year.

Besides essaying a pivotal role in the Kannada film, Raveena also made her OTT debut with the Netflix crime thriller web series Aranyak, where she played the lead character of Kasturi Dogra.

Earlier this year, she featured in Karmma Calling, an Indian adaptation of the American thriller drama Revenge. The show premiered on Disney+ Hotstar.

While Raveena makes progress in her career, her husband Anil Thadani, the founder of AA Films, a non-studio distribution company, continues to invest in major projects.

As per a Money Control report, AA Films has acquired Pushpa 2: The Rule starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna theatrical rights in North India for Rs 200 crore. The same report also suggests that the digital rights of the Sukumar directorial have been sold to Netflix for Rs 100 crore.

According to reports from multiple South Indian websites such as 123Telugu and Telugu360, Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s highly anticipated movie Game Changer has already earned Rs 75 crore from the sale of its Hindi version theatrical rights in North India. The reports also suggest that AA Films have also acquired the theatrical rights for Devera: Part 1 for Rs 50 crore.

About Anil Thadani:
Anil Thadani is the son of producer-director Kundan Thadani. He met Raveena Tandon while filming Stumped, a sports drama that marked Tandon’s debut as a producer, in 2003. After keeping their relationship low-key for a few months, Tandon and Thadani tied the knot on February 22, 2004, at the Shiv Niwas Palace in Udaipur. The couple has two children: Rasha and Ranbir.

Meanwhile as per Lifestyle Asia and publicly available data, Raveena estimated net worth is around Rs 166 crore, but her husband Anil Thadani’s net worth is unavailable.
