Actress Rupali Ganguly Joins BJP ahead of the LS Polls
Television actress Rupali Ganguly, impressed by
PM Modi ‘s work has joined BJP.
Rupali Ganguly, is known for her roles in the series ‘Anupama’ and ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’.
The event took place at the party’s headquarters in Kolkata and saw the attendance by several senior BJP leaders, including national general secretary Vinod Tawde.
Speaking with the media, the actress articulated that seeing the ‘Mahayagya’ of development (development push) around her (under the leadership of PM Modi, she felt that she should also be a part of it.
Adding that she wishes to follow in the footsteps of
PM Modi and serve fellow citizens in whichever role is entrusted to her she will accept it. But, she intends to work under the guidance of Amit Shah and make all of her leaders and cadres proud of her.
Welcoming her into the party, Tawde used the opportunity to attack the Opposition over Samajwadi Party leader Maria Alam’s appeal for ‘love jihad’.
