Latest news comes to light that Tollywood legendary actor
Chiranjeevi is to be honoured with the prestigious Padma Vibhushan award on Thursday 9 May in Delhi at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan.
Chiranjeevi is the second Tollywood actor after Akkineni Nageswar Rao and the seventh actor in India to receive the prestigious civilian award.
Earlier the Government of India had announced the country’s second-highest civilian award for the Tollywood legend on 25th January. Chiranjeevi is the second Tollywood actor after Akkineni Nageswar Rao and the seventh actor in India to be honored with this award.
It is learnt that Surekha Garu, Megapower Star Ram Charan, and Upasana will also grace the award ceremony.
Needless to mention this is a special moment for all the mega fans. It was in 2006 that
Chiranjeevi was conferred with the Padma Bhushan award.
On the professional front, the Legendary actor will be next seen in Vishwambhara, set for a 10th January 2025 release
