Navi Mumbai: Container Breaking Mafia, like Somalia Pirates, bringing India a bad name
A clash between two groups of illegal container breaking mafia  in Navi Mumbai in neighboring Thane district resulted in one person-Ainul Haq being left bleeding profusely, let to die along a road divider, police said on Tuesday.
Commissioner of Police- Navi Mumbai has been informed of
1) Container breaking Mafia operating in Kharghar- Kalamboli – Taloja police stations….
2) Operating like “Somalia Pirates”- “earning Country bad name….”
3) Last week Container Mafia Gang war- Cases registered in Kalamboli- Kharghar Police stations
4) Container Breaking Mafia’s names
1) Imtiaz
2) Hafiz Malik
3) Bakkar
4) Ainul Haq
5) Mateen
6) Wahid Khan
7) Muzammil Khan
8) Baba Pakistani
9) Nizam Khan
Earlier MCOCA had been invoked on them….

Reports Sr PI Kalamboli – He said Kalamboli police booked Haq and his men for assaulting Khan, while the latter and some of his kin were charged with attempt to murder by Kharghar police, though no arrest has been made in both cases.

Senior Inspector Shatrughna Mali of Kharghar police station said, “We have registered a case against seven people on Eanul Haq’s complaint that he was assaulted with iron rods. The complainant as well as accused are part of the iron mafia. We are looking for the accused and no arrest has been made so far.”

Another official said Haq, Khan and several others involved in illegalities in the business of iron rods, which are used to reinforce concrete while constructing buildings, were charged under the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) earlier by Navi Mumbai police.
