Akshay Tiger other crew members yet to be remunerated for ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’
With Vashu Baghnani produced ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ having tanked at the box-office, the cast and crew members of the big budget film have not been remunerated. The producer too is in a cob-web finding it difficult to make payments and is in severe debts with the result he was forced to sell off his production office buildin.
A crew member who worked with Vashu and Jackky Bhagnani wrote a lengthy post on Instagram and narrated her story on how she’s yet to receive her dues.
Ruchita Kamble, a crew member, took to Instagram and narrated her story. She wrote that she isn’t the one to ever make such posts but sometimes people need to be ousted! Seeing her team and the crew she worked with struggle day in and out to just get hold of their own hard earned money, compelled her to write this post.
Another crew member Vaishnavi Paralikar wrote that she did a movie 2 years ago with a very well known production house. She alongside with atleast a 100 crew members are awaiting their payments (2 month salaries) since 2 years. Meanwhile the actor has been paid immediately because they are ACTORS. None of the producers have an answer to our question…
A source reveals that even the actors of the film are yet to receive their payments. It said, “ While the Insta post of Vaishnavi says that actors have been paid, in reality none of the actors on Bade Miyan Chote Miyan , Jackky’s latest production in question- Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, Alaya F, Prithviraj Sukumaran – have been paid. Much like the crew even the actors were ensured payment after completion of the film, but the promise has not been kept.
Tiger in his statement says he has nothing to say at the moment”. Ronit Roy, too, responded with “Nothing to say.”
