Vijayta Pandit makes shocking claim on Amitabh Bachchan
Late music composer Aadesh Srivastava’s wife Vijayta Pandit has made an unbelievable claim that Amitabh Bachchan, who once used to visit her home frequently has now stopped coming.
Notably, renowned music composer Aadesh Srivastava made an incredible impact on the Indian music industry with his hit songs. Amidst the course of his musical career, Aadesh contributed to numerous successful soundtracks, including films like Chalte Chalte, Baabul, Baghban, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
Although, Aadesh won a big name, fame and carved a niche for himself as a music composer to reckon with in the industry and proved his mettle, he also headlined for his passionate friendship with Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan.
Aadesh and Amitabh befriended in the late 1990s when Bachchan and Srivastava worked on various projects together. Over the time, their association turned out into a genuine friendship that extended beyond the confines of the film industry. Sadly, this friendship ceased to exist when Aadesh breathed his last in 2015.
In the midst of one of the Rocky road for the family, Amitabh was pictured with Aadesh’s wife, Vijayta Pandit Pandit. However, over time, the bond amid the families faded.
In a recent interview Vijayta Pandit recounted how Amitabh stopped visiting her house following the death of her husband. With a heavy heart, she revealed that the families are no longer in close touch. She mentioned that Amitabh now only visits her home on special occasions for her son, Avitesh.

Vijeta also shared that there was a time when Amitabh used to visit their home frequently, but things have changed since then. She said, “He was present when Avitesh’s first song was released. Earlier, Amitji used to visit more often when we had a studio at home. Now, we no longer have the studio, and he has set one up at his own place. In fact, he even took our sound engineer with him. Currently, Amitji and she aren’t in regular contact. She believes Amitji should now do something to support her son.
Even as a decade approaches since the sad demise of Aadesh, the legacy he has left as a music composer will remain forever in the hearts of Bollywood fans. Some of his best-known songs include “Shava-Shava,” “Chali Chali Phir Chali,” “Layi Vi Na Gayee,” and many others.
