Amidst the podcast, Jaya Bachchan shares her thoughts on modern relationships, saying, “You all can have relationships, but not love.” Shweta Bachchan counters her statement, saying, “I think you all have more options than us. Your pool is much bigger.” Jaya Bachchan disagrees, stating, “No, there were many options in our time too.”
Shweta Bachchan then mentions that earlier, people were restricted to find love within their surroundings, however, now they interact across borders. She says, “In our time, we used to find love in the same city, school, or country, but today people are travelling a lot and interacting across borders. So you have a lot of options, which is why these apps have become popular.” Jaya Bachchan questions, “Where did ‘just this much’ come from in love?” Shweta Bachchan concludes, “The definition of ‘everything’ has changed.”
