Vikrant Massey returns after break from acting; shoots with Shanaya Kapoor in Dehradun
After he announced of his retirement from acting, Vikrant Massey returns to the sets of his film ‘Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan’ with Shanaya Kapoor.
The actor is finishing his pending commitments as he had said two of his films will release in 2025.
Taking to his social media the actor announced that he’s set to take a break from acting. Though, his post made people think that he’s retiring from movies. The actor’s post had read, “The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal.
He thanks each and every one for their indelible indelible support. But as he moves forward, he realises that it’s time to recalibrate and return home as husband, father & a son and also as an Actor. So, in 2025, we will meet each other for one last time.
Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many a years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Forever indebted.”
As Vikrant has said he’s got his last two movies coming in 2025, one of them is titled tentatively, ‘Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan’ which sees him alongside Shanaya Kapoor. The shoot of the movie is still pending and soon after announcing his break, Vikrant was seen back on the set to fulfill his pending commitments before he goes on a break. While he said, ‘last two movies’, most people thought that the actor has announced his retirement and this left everyone shocked.
However, Vikrant has clarified, “Acting is all he can do. And it has given me everything he has. His physical and mental health have taken a hit. He just wants to take some time off, want to better his craft. Feels a sense of monotony at the moment. His post has been misinterpreted. That he is quiting or retiring from acting as he want to take some time off to focus on his family and health. He would be back when the time feels right.
Vikrant is currently seen in ‘The Sabarmati Report’ which is getting a lot of love from all over and recently was screened for PM Narendra Modi.
