Ram Gopal Varma’s directorial ‘Satya’ is hailed as one of the classic films in Hindi. He was also the producer of the film.
The Saurabh Shukla and Anurag Kashyap scripted film featured
J. D. Chakravarthy, Urmila Matondkar and Manoj Bajpayee, alongside Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Shrivastava and Paresh Rawal in key roles.
Meanwhile, RGV is on a celebration mood over the 25 years of the film’s release.
The maverick filmmaker shared a selfie with JD Chakravarthi and the actor is completely transformed. He sported a different look for the film.
The film is having a re-release in Mumbai, marking the reunion of the entire team.
The film’s synopsis reads: “Durga’s brother is killed in a gang war, turning him into a revenge-seeking man with a mission. Now, his ex-girlfriends cop husband is out to get him. Finally, the two team up to nab the real culprit.”
JD Chakravarthy was last seen in a web series for Hotstar and he has an interesting lineup of films.
