Speculations have been rife sincr the past few months, South. director Sukumar holding talks with Shah Rukh Khan.
A source reveals that there is some development in the project. However reports reveal Sukumar is said to have locked the genre for this mega project.
The project will be a rural political action drama that ensures to project him in a raw, rustic, and desi avatar that blends his mass appeal with his global image. It will also explore social issues like caste and class oppression.
Earlier, there were rumours that Sukumar and King Khan would collaborate on a dark psychological thriller, but the latest report suggests otherwise.
Shah Rukh and Sukumar are now occupied with their respective projects, and it will take them not less than two years to wrap up their existing commitments. Hence, even if this North-South collaboration materializes, it might not happen anytime soon.
