Neetu embarked on her acting career as a child artist when eight yars old, making her debut in the 1966 film “Suraj” alongside Vyjayanthimala and Rajendra Kumar. She transitioned to lead roles in the 1970s, festuring in films like “Deewaar” “Khel Khel Mein”, “Kabhie Kabhie” and “Amar Akbar Anthony”
In recognition and contribution to Hindi Cinema, Neetu was honoured with two Filmfare Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress for her performances in “Kaala Patthar” and “Jugjugg Jeeyo” . She won several other accolades, including a Zee Cine Award and a Stardust Award for her role in “Do Dooni Chaar”
Neetu staged a comeback to acting after a 25-year hiatus, with a cameo in “Love Aaj Kal” followed by lead roles in “Do Dooni Chaar” and “Besharam”. Her recent performances include “Jugjugg Jeeyo” and serving as a judge on “Dance Deewane Juniors”.
