On Labour Day 1 May, the Sugee Group released a special song to honour the tireless efforts of the workers who build the city’s skyline. Lending his voice to the initiative the acclaimed singer described the project as an emotional experience rooted in gratitude and realism.

The song, composed by Chaitanya Pandit with lyrics penned by Chirag Modi and Pandit, goes beyond conventional melodies. It incorporates authentic construction site sounds – like hammers, drills, and rammers – blending music with the raw ambience of real-life labour. The piece serves not only as a musical offering but also as a thoughtful reminder of the invisible hands that shape our daily lives.

Vishal Dadlani went on to stress that they rarely pause to acknowledge those who build their homes, often without recognition or expectation. So when Sugee Group asked him to give voice to this song that expresses gratitude towards construction workers on Labour Day, he was genuinely moved. What makes the song so powerful is the way it weaves in the raw, real textures of their working world—actual construction site sounds like hammers, drills, rammers, and shears. It’s this grounding in reality that gives the composition its emotional weight.

He went on to add that lending voice to it wasn’t just a musical decision—it was an emotional one.
