Actress Smriti Irani’s first look in “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” has been released.
She flaunts a perfect Banarasi saree in a traditional look as she reprises her iconic character – Tulsi Virani – in the new season of ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.’ The actress took the audiences back to the times when her popular show emerged as an household source of entertainment across the entire country.

Even as the makers have yet to officially make an announcement of the show and the cast, a photo of Irani in her iconic is going viral on social media. The authenticity of the photo is yet to be verified.

Earlier, Irani marked 25 years of her show with a special post on social media. She shared a photo featuring herself, Apara Mehta (Savita Virani) and the late actor Sudha Shivpuri, who played Baa, to highlight that the show was more than just a daily soap opera.

The caption on her post read, “25 years ago, a story entered Indian homes and quietly became part of countless lives.
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi wasn’t just a show it was emotion, memory, ritual. A time when families paused everything to sit together cry, laugh, hope. To every viewer who made Tulsi a part of their own family. The actress thanked the family. This journey wasn’t hers alone. It was ours. And it always will be.

‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ was one of the longest-running TV shows in India. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, it ran for eight years, and made Smriti Irani a household name.
A reboot of the show is now in the works. Actors Amar Upadhyay, Apara Mehta, Shakti Anand, and Komolika Guha Thakurta, among others, are rumoured to be returning to play their roles
