Hema Malini was very much attached to her revered father late
VSR Chakravarti . He was associated with Employees State Insurance as a Regional Director. The three children Hema Kannan and Jagannath was raised by Jaya Chakravarti.wife Jaya Chakravarti. Avowed for being much devoted of his daughter, he stood firmly by her side as she stepped into the glamorous world. More than a father, he was a guiding light in her life, instilling in her the values of discipline, dignity, and simplicity that continued to define her even as she rose to become the “Dream Girl” of Indian cinema.

For Hema, his support and care were a source of strength, keeping her grounded amid the glamour of stardom. All through her career in films having co-featured with most of the big male actors she wasn’t embroiled in any controversy. Till date she is leading a very respectable. She is very spiritual being Lord Krishna Devout. She still continues with her dance performances.
