Sunny Deol to reunite with Anil Sharma for ‘Coal King’
Veteran actor-filmmaker Sunny Deol and Anil Sharma are to re-unite with ‘Coal King’
A source reveals that both Anil and Sunny have had discussions on few new and original ideas for the last two years. Source further reveals among these, both of them are excited on a
“larger-than-life drama,” set against the backdrop of the Coal Mafia. Gadar 3 is on the cards.
The source further informed the media that Sunny Deol will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar. And that at the moment,further stated that at the moment the script is ready and all work is in progress on the dialogue.
A report further states that Anil Sharma is also working on ‘Gadar 3’ a “big-scale period action film.” The deal will be finalized by the end of this year. Not just that, reportedly, three scripts are in the works.
Sunny as of now, is working with director Sidharth P. Malhotra for a Netflix movie. After that, he will be next seen in a film backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s production house.
Apart from that, he will also star as Lord Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’. The actor began shooting for the epic towards the end of 2025. He also has ‘Lahore: 1947’, backed by Aamir Khan’s production venture.
Sunny was last seen in the film titled ‘Jaat’ that also featured Randeep Hooda, and Regina Cassandra in lead roles. The film hit the theaters on April 10, 2025.
