Acclaimed filmmaker Priyadarshan has cast serious doubt over the future of the highly anticipated comedy sequel Hera Pheri 3, stating that the project may never see the light of day. Speaking on the long-delayed film, the director revealed that a web of legal, financial, and creative hurdles has made the venture nearly impossible to execute.
The filmmaker noted that while the audience’s appetite for the return of the iconic trio remains high, the behind-the-scenes realities have created a stalemate. He characterized the sequel as a project bogged down by “too many complications,” suggesting that the logistics of aligning the original cast, securing script approvals, and navigating production disputes have stalled progress indefinitely.
With key stakeholders unable to find a clear path forward, the celebrated franchise appears to be permanently shelved. Fans hoping for a reunion of the beloved characters may have to accept that the classic series has reached its final conclusion.
