Unforgettable night for Bachchan Parivar at Filmfare Awards Nite
The 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards Nite on October 11 turned out to be an unforgettable Night for the Bachchan Parivar as Amitabh, Jaya, and Abhishek each took home the ‘Black Lady” (trophy). Later the Senior Bachchan Amitabh on social media thanked fans for their support.
On Monday, the Senior Bachchan shared a video on X (formerly Twitter), holding all three awards with pride
Alongside the clip, he wrote in Hindi: “One family… three members in the same profession… three awards on the same day. 70 years of Filmfare honouring Jaya… Best Actor 2025 for Abhishek… and mine for the 70-year celebration. Jaya, Abhishek, and he extend gratitude towards the public. Many, many thanks.”
At the event, Abhishek grooved to a track “Sara Zamana…” in honour of his father, moving the audience with his iconic songs. The performance left Jaya Bachchan emotional. Later, Abhishek shared the Best Actor award with Kartik Aaryan, who won for ‘Chandu Champion’.
Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming projects include Ribhu Dasgupta’s Section 84′ with Diana Penty, Nimrat Kaur, and Abhishek Banerjee, and a sequel to Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, featuring Prabhas and Kamal Haasan, with filming set to start in December.
Meanwhile, the Senior Bachchan continues to host ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 17’.
